{"id":1846,"date":"2013-01-27T16:21:51","date_gmt":"2013-01-27T15:21:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hipsb.hr\/?page_id=1846"},"modified":"2014-12-01T10:12:37","modified_gmt":"2014-12-01T09:12:37","slug":"general-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hipsb.hr\/en\/general-information\/","title":{"rendered":"General Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Unit for the History of Slavonia, Syrmia and Baranya is a constituent part of the\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.isp.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Croatian Institute of History (Zagreb)<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0a public research institution, and its only research subsidiary outside Zagreb.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The chief of the Unit, designated by the director of the Institute, is responsible for the work and for the proper functioning of the Unit.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers of the Unit collaborate with each other, with colleagues from the parent institution and with historians from other institutions in Croatia and foreign countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Collaborative and team <strong>research work<\/strong> is put into practice mainly through the cooperation within other sections of the Unit and within research projects that bring together researchers from within and without the Institute.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Unit has its own <strong>research library<\/strong> and runs an independent <strong>publishing activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Unit employs, in addition to its researchers, operating and auxiliary staff for a proper functioning of the organisational components of the Unit.
