\"Hrvati<\/a>Aside from the scholarly research work, scholarly publishing is the second most important aspect of work of the Unit for the History of Slavonia, Syrmia and Baranya.
\nThe first book, a reprint of selected studies of Matija Mesi\u0107, was published by the Unit in 1996, in the year of its establishment. Since then, overall, nearly a hundred books (monographs, collective volumes etc.) have been published by the Unit. \u00a0One third of the books were published by the Unit alone, while the Unit was joint publisher of the other two thirds with other research and cultural institutions and commercial publishers.<\/p>\n

At its very beginnings the Unit established its comprehensive publication series Bibliotheca Croatica: Slavonica, Sirmiensia et Baranyensia<\/strong>, under which imprint the majority of the publications have come out.\u00a0\u00a0The series is divided into sections: Studies, Sources, Special Editions, Small Collection, Manuscripts, Reprints, and the thematic sequences Ethnic Topics, World War II \u2013 Documents, the Croatian Democratic Movement and the Homeland War, and Documents from the Croatian Democratic Movement and Homeland War \u2013 Documents.<\/p>\n

THE SERIES<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\"ss14\"<\/a>A journal has been published since 2001. Since 2005 it has been indexed in the specialized international online database Historical Abstracts. Since 2005 it has also been featured in the international online library for humanities and social science CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library). Articles can be read free of charge in electronic versions on the Portal of Scientific Articles of the Republic of Croatia (Hr\u010dak): http:\/\/hrcak.srce.hr\/scrinia-slavonica<\/a><\/p>\n

Since March 29, 2011, with the approval of the National Council for Science, the journal has been categorized into the highest group (A1) on the list of categorized domestic journals in the field of humanities.<\/p>\n
